Your responsibilities

As our Planner Logistics & Expedition, you will be responsible for planning, follow up and administratively processing of logistics and expedition processes. You work together with four colleagues and report to the team lead. 

 Here's what you'll do:

  • Planning, managing and administratively processing (returnable) packaging including inventory management and re-ordering
  • Reviewing order information, daily scheduling and preparation of customer orders for picking and packing in the warehouse.
  • Planning, document preparation and processing of all transports to customers
  • Communication with various external parties (e.g. logistics service provider), and coordinating internally with the warehouse and other departments such as customer service and production control.
  • Process owner of various processes within specialization: continuous improvement, process documentation (according to IATF) and leading projects.
Your qualifications

In your role as Planner, you play a crucial role for the business. You have excellent communication skills, which allows you to communicate both internally and externally towards customers and suppliers. You are hands-on and are actively looking for process improvement opportunities.  

For this role we are looking for someone that is willing to learn the ins and out of what it takes to become a Planner at Nedschroef. Your responsibilities and compensation will match the level of experience you bring and will expand accordingly. Future opportunities could include becoming team lead or even supervisor / manager. 

 

Other qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree preferably in logistics / supply chain, or comparable work experience in a relevant position.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, German is a big plus. 
  • Good IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, ERP).
  • Familiar with logistics, transportation & distribution processes.
  • Basic knowledge of customs formalities and import/export processes.
