Your responsibilities

As our OFP Quality Engineer, you will be a pivotal part of our Quality department, playing a crucial role communicating with customers, the internal organization and, when necessary, with the supplier. You will be part of a team of Quality Service Engineers and report directly to the Senior Quality Engineer. 

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Analysis, reporting and correct handling of customer complaints and implementing corrective and preventive measures within the organization.
  • Coordinate, initiate, advise, execute and lead quality improvement projects within the organization (continuous improvement). 
  • Support internal departments in the areas of internal deviations, improvement and quality assurance.
  • Active participation in APQP and timely PPAP reporting in proper format on customer portal. 
  • Translate and apply customer specific quality requirements and methodologies within the organization. 
  • Read drawings and interpret standards. 
  • Perform internal quality audits.
Your qualifications

You have excellent communication skills. You are able to zoom out and analyse processes as a whole. Subsequently, you initiate improvements when required. In addition, you are punctual and accurate in your work. 

Other qualifications:

  • Technical HBO working and thinking level obtained through education or similar experience. Work experience in similar position (in automotive) is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of quality systems (ISO9001, VDA 6.1, IATF 16949) and related techniques (APQP, PPAP, 8D, Pareto, Lean Six Sigma, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of statistical methods of research and analysis techniques (SPC, FMEA, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of measurement methods, measurement tools and capability of measurement methods (MSA) and processes (Cpk/Cmk).
  • Knowledge of audit techniques. 
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English. German is a plus.
