Your responsibilities

As our NPI Engineer Secondary Processing, you will be a pivotal part of our NPI Engineering Team, playing a crucial role in ensuring optimal production performance. You will be responsible for assessing applications (RFQs) for feasibility. You coordinate this feasibility with the NPI RFQ team. In addition you will determine optimal product routing. You do this for both the internal machines but you also assess the external offers from suppliers. You also supply production data for the cost price calculation for the machining operations. 

You will be THE source of information regarding machining operations and processes. 

You make sure the new products, machining processes and assembly processes are ready for serial production: 

  • You will be developing and optimizing products on the machining secondary processing machine. This also happens together with the supplier of the relevant machining machines.
  • You will optimize products on the assembly machines. 

For this role we are looking for someone that is willing to learn the ins and out of what it takes to become a NPI Engineer Secondary Processing at Nedschroef. Your qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or MBO+) or similar working experience, preferably an education in the direction of mechanical engineering, metal or related.  
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills regarding shape- and placement tolerances and common means of measurement.
  • Experience with pFMEA and drawing up control plans. 
  • CNC programming experience, preferably on secondary processing machines.
  • Experience with CAM simulation is a plus. 
  • Proficient in English. German is a plus.
