Within the Global Financial Shared Service Center we are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for the Netherlands. In this role you work in your local team and partake in global projects together with colleagues in the Financial Shared Service Center. As our Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be a pivotal part of our financial department, being the local point of contact for the business. As the Senior PtP Specialist you will report to the Team Lead Accounts Payable. You are responsible for an accurate and timely completions of Accounts Payable activities, including processing of received invoices and expense claims, payments and managing queries and exceptions. All activities will be done in accordance with local guidelines and Nedschroef policies and objectives to achieve the agreed service levels (SLAs) and KPIs.

Your responsibilities

Within this role you review supplier invoice processing activities performed by an (junior) Accounts Payable Specialist. You perform the processing of the more complicated supplier invoices and expense claims for management activities. You also perform (un)blocking of invoices and discuss with the team lead when necessary. In addition, you manage the operational relationship with the bank, manage reverse factoring programs (e.g. the onboarding of new suppliers), manage claims/debit notes with suppliers, and review supplier master data updates. 

In your role there is a lot of room for process improvement projects, which have an impact locally and globally. 

Your qualifications

You have a strong personality, great communication skills and are a team player. You are an analytical thinker, you are precise, accurate and able to commit to deadlines. You can work independently and are proactive in contributing to continuous improvement within the Financial Shared Service Centre. 

In addition, you: 

  • Have a relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • Have experience in a similar role. 
  • Have experience with purchase-to-pay activities.  
  • Are proficient in English.
  • Are living within a commuting distance from Helmond (remote work is possible 1 to 2 days a week).
